Reason for joining the Quest

I believe that if humans have the intellectual capacity to build nuclear bombs powerful enough to destroy the

world several times over, we also have the capacity to find the cure for cancer. I would like to contribute to that.

I love children and the water — I can’t think of any better way to contribute to the cause than Quest40Cure.

Background

Born in Maryland and raised all about the Eastern U.S. by my awesome mother of seven children. I graduated

from Southern High School in 2006 and have attended Garrett College in Western Maryland for the past two

years. I’ve worked as a cook, waitress, and hostess at Denny’s since 2005 and am presently working at the

Adventure Sports Center as a raft guide. (I love my job.)
